ABOUT
Lauren Finch is a media composer, based in the UK. Her experience spans a range of different forms from narrative and documentary films, to theatre and audiovisual exhibitions - with award-winning projects screening at BIFA, BAFTA, and OSCAR qualifying festivals around the world. She is a Music and Sound Rising Star Award 2024 nominee and her music was selected to be performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the London Soundtrack Festival Gala Concert 2025. Her music can also be heard on a compilation album of featured artists, released on BAFTA-winning Ólafur Arnalds' Opia record label. Lauren also has experience assisting on acclaimed TV projects, such as the BAFTA-nominated BBC Documentary Silverback and ITV series The Playboy Bunny Murder. In 2025, she was selected for FMF Kraków Young Talent Award Scholarship, and she has participated in the Thrive composer programme (run in partnership with Grammy-winning Lorne Balfe), ScreenCraft Works Cross-border Programme, and First Artists Management's C.A.M.P Programme. Lauren has led the Introduction to Film Scoring online HyperTribe course, and has worked with companies such as Naroth Audio and Inletaudio. Lauren has a MA in Professional Media Composition and is a member of The Ivors Academy, WFTV and AWFC.
